Royals
A personal series I’ve been developing over the past few months. Inspired by the visual language of Norman Rockwell, I set out to bring that same narrative warmth to my own community. Royals explores how Black people have been stripped of so much — our royal lineage, our cultural ties, our sense of continuity — and yet have continually rebuilt. The series centers on love, community, and rebirth.
